Premier demonstration

This morning, Archery and dancing club put on a performance to the school to share the skills they’d learnt this term. Thank you to the coaches for all their hard work supporting the children.

Africa ahoy!

Today, class one went on a journey to Africa. Our class transformed into a ship and we set sail.  The Captain gave us instructions and we made tickets and most importantly, passports.  We then found lots of African animals in our outside area.

Our friendship wall

To promote the Christian value of friendship each child has created their own lolly stick person for our friendship wall. The children have the responsibility to spot values in their friends and place the sticks in the pots. We then celebrate this as a whole class.

The Good Samaritan

Today, the Holy Council lead Collective Worship with the parable of The Good Samaritan. The parable, which was told by Jesus in the Gospel of Luke, helped us to think about being friendly and helping others. Thank you to the Holy Council for planning and leading today’s Collective Worship.

Spot the teacher

Class one would like to thank everyone for their kind donations to Children in need. We thoroughly enjoyed painting Mrs Whybrow and making her very spotty!

E safety

Today we had an impromptu class discussion about e safety. The children talked about using YouTube and how they can be safe online. We discussed what we need to do if we feel uncomfortable with anything we find whilst online.

Remembrance Service

Today, the children from Classes 3 and 4 attended church for a service whilst Classes 1 and 2 held an act of remembrance in school. The children were very respectful throughout. Thank you to all the staff, parents and church team for their support.
