Happy New Year

We have had a fun start to the new term learning about Africa. We were moving round and balancing like African animals in PE. We also set up a vets to help us to look after the animals too!

New Sports Kits

Thank you to Mrs Avery’s family for their very generous donation of brand new sports kits for the school. We are delighted with the new outfits and look forward to seeing the children look amazing next time they represent our school. Here is a sneak peek into what our athletes will look like.

Award assembly

Today, we held our last award assembly of the term and 2019. Congratulations to all the children who received awards.

Happy end of term wishes from Class One

Today, class one celebrated the end of term with a party. We decorated our tables, played games and tucked into our lovely food. Many thanks for all your help over the term!

Class party assistance!

Would anyone be able to help us? The children would love some sausage rolls, cucumber and carrot sticks for our party tomorrow. If you can help us, please let us know.  The children can bring in party clothes to change into during the day. 

Year one holiday homework

Year One have some holiday homework to complete. This will help your child with their punctuation and sentence structure in English. If you have any queries about the homework, please talk to me before Friday. I appreciate your support at home.  Mrs Whybrow 

Christmas Dinner antics

On Friday, we had our Christmas celebrations including: Christmas dinner and Christmas jumpers. We all had so much fun!

Christmas Tree Festival

Christmas Tree FestivalThe children have been busy making decorations for the school Christmas tree. Pop along to St. Peter’s Church, Goldhanger to see the wonderful creations. The church is open from 9.30 am – 8pm today and 11 am – 6.30 pm on Sunday 15th December.

Class party

Next Friday, class one will have their class party. If you could possibly help us with party food donations, we would be most grateful. Carols

Congratulations to our pianists who played their pieces in Collective Worship today. It was wonderful to hear the range of carols that you have been learning in your lessons. Thank you to Mrs Baluch for all your hard work and support, the children have made great progess!
