Class 1 have had an exciting day taking part in an array of Spring and Easter activities to end the school term with. They have all worked very hard on their learning and deserve a good rest.

The children have been learning to count in Spanish and played a game where they collected the correct number of objects to match the Spanish number. They have also been having a great time learning the correct vocabulary for different family members. Fantastica / Fantastico !

Designing and making a slider mechanism in design technology.
The children have been using the traditional story of the Gingerbread man to design and make props for a puppet show using a moving slider mechanism.
Mother’s Day Afternoon
On Friday, the PTFA ran a wonderful Mother’s Day afternoon where parents and carers came into school to enjoy a cream tea with their child/children. A massive thank you to the incredible women of the PTFA who organised and ran the event. It was such a special time and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
