The great moat adventure!

Today, class one explored materials to cross the moat to attack a castle. We looked at what things we made from and talked about how we can cross the most. We experimented with wood and plastic to make a strong bridge for our knight. It was great fun!

Reach for the sky reading challenge!

Just a reminder of our reading challenge in class. If your child reads 3 times a week or more, they move up our ladder to reach the cloud.  Regular reading at home is proven to support child progress. 

Church visit

Today, Class 1 met Linda Towers at church to learn about the features and its history. We had a wonderful time completing our treasure hunt, sitting in the pews and standing in the pulpit. Thank you to all the parents who gave up their time to support this visit today.

Kung Hey Fat Choi

Today in Class one we tried noodles to celebrate Chinese New Year. We learnt what animal we all are and how to say Happy New Year in Chinese too. We even had a go at writing our name in Chinese lettering!
