Institute for Leadership and Management coach. Now largely retired. 
A Member of the St. Nicholas, D’Arcy governing board before the school became part of the Canonium Trust and now a member of the Teaching and Learning Council for Tolleshunt D’Arcy St. Nicholas as well as a Director for the Trust.

15/09/2022 – 14/09/2026Appointed by GB/boardI am a work based tutor/ assessor, mental health practitioner and women’s aid campaigner. I have vast experience and knowledge working with children, young people and adults in a variety of settings and sectors.
It is my privilege to be working as part of a team, making an impact on the provision of education and pupil/staff wellbeing at Tolleshun’t D’arcy School.
Emily Selfe01/09/2023 – 31/08/2027Board of DirectorsI joined the governing body of Tolleshunt D’Arcy St. Nicholas C of E Primary Academy in 2016. as PCC Governor for Goldhanger. I have always lived in the local area and I am pleased to be part of a team making a difference to the provision of education at the school. As a Governor, I have particularly focused on RE, collective worship and monitoring of the curriculum. I have worked as a primary school teacher in other local school since I qualified in 2005 and I have recently completed an MA in Education. I enjoy working with young people and undertake other voluntary work as a leader with Girl Guiding.
Jenny Brown-Lee30/09/2023 – 01/10/2027Board of DirectorsI have been the Foundation DBE Governor for Tolleshunt D’Arcy St Nicholas C of E Academy since 2016. I worked as a Nursery Nurse with an Advanced Diploma in Child Education for 20 years in Hertfordshire. I have a special interest in the use of the outside area in the curriculum, in early years. As a governor, I have been focused on attendance, behaviour and the reception class. I enjoy volunteering at the school most weeks baking with small groups of children.
Steven Brown05/11/2021 – 04/11/2025Elected by parentsI am a scientist, working in the UK’s energy industry for the last 15 years. I have two children who attend St.Nicholas and aim to do all that I can to support the school and the pupils in the future.
