Today was Christmas dinner day where we all wore our Christmas jumpers. It was such a wonderful atmosphere of cheer and celebration. Thank you to Mrs Longhurst who prepared such a wonderful Christmas lunch.

Nativity 2023
Last Thursday, we performed our Nativity play. We all worked so hard on backdrops, props, costumes, learning lines and especially our singing. Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend. Thank you to all staff members who supported the Nativity.

This afternoon in Class 1, we were learning how to take digital photographs and delete them. So, we decided to go on a colour scavenger hunt to locate and take a photograph of objects of certain colours.

The children in Year 1 have been learning about how they can use different mathematical strategies and resources to support them with solving subtraction problems.

Class 1 have been making fruit smoothies. They followed the recipes they had written, made sure that all of the ingredients were measured out ready and prepared safely by washing their hands and cutting very responsibly on the chopping board.
