In class 2, we recently created these fantastic pastel artist studies of the artist Sara Catena. They did a brilliant job getting the correct line work in place and then using contrasting colours.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream 

In groups we chose our favourite scenes from the play to perform to the rest of the class. We thought a lot about stage directions and characterisation.

Reach for the sky reading challenge!

Just a reminder of our reading challenge in class. If your child reads 3 times a week or more, they move up our ladder to reach the cloud.  Regular reading at home is proven to support child progress. 

Sentence structure.

Big Monday Write

This work we are working on a recipe for Dragon Soup. I wonder what things you would have to feed a dragon to keep it happy and healthy?! I’ve added a list of measures you could use and an example of a recipe to help.
