Fruit kebabs

Today year 3 spent some time preparing some delicious fruit kebabs with Mrs Brown-Lee. The children washed, chopped and tasted the different fruits. The thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot together. Thank you to Mrs Brown-Lee for all her hard work planning this wonderful learning opportunity.

Welcome back

We hope you had a lovely break.  New homework has been sent home.  As always anything you or your children are unsure about please ask.

Cheeky writers!

Today in phonics, Class one were a little cheeky and practised our writing on the tables! The children thought this was extremely funny but they know they can only do it when told (no kitchen tables will be hurt as a result of a cheeky writer).

We hope you’ve all had a lovely break, we are starting our new topic Animal Kingdom, so therefore we will be sending all of the fabulous castles home today.

We love reading!

Today, Class 4 joined Class 1 to share their love of reading. The older children really enjoyed the responsibility of sharing with the younger class. Hopefully we can do this again.

Tudor village

To end our topic we have completed our Tudor houses. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday.

BSL, BSL and more BSL

Today in class 2, we learnt more BSL (British Sign Language) as a part of our accepting differences topic. The children have been loving this and have picked it up super fast.

Beauty and the Beats
