Guided Reading

Recently, class 2 have really been loving our guided reading sessions, which we do every day. For one of our sessions, we got into pairs and read to each other. We really loved showing our reading skills and sharing our books with our friends.

Congratulations champs.

Our champions today worked well with money in maths, care sheets in English and Collage in science!

Shakespeare’s world

As we near the end of our topic. It is time to find out what we now know about Shakespeare.  We have really enjoyed this topic and have discovered some budding poets and actors!  Thank you again for helping the children with their homework.  We have been inundated with some great creative pieces.

Board of champions

Congratulations champs! You were spotted doing marvellous maths, brilliant Big Writes and great RE.

Tricky word hunt

Today in phonics, we searched our library books for tricky words. We were all able to find them.

Please can you ensure your child does not wear their Fitbit to school. These can be very distracting and we do not want them left in lockers, in case they become lost. This also applies to any other electronic devices.  Many thanks for your cooperation.  As always, any concerns please speak to Mr Hopegood.

DT

We have been very busy in class today. We have been making dragon traps  out of wood this very hard work.Well done everyone!

The great moat adventure!

Today, class one explored materials to cross the moat to attack a castle. We looked at what things we made from and talked about how we can cross the most. We experimented with wood and plastic to make a strong bridge for our knight. It was great fun!

Judaism

Following yesterday afternoons RE lesson. This morning we thought about what we now know about Judaism.  This led onto another great discussion.

Marvellous creations

In class 2, we have had some fantastic pieces of homework come in. Keep up the amazing work!
