Green fingers!

Today two of our Year 6 girls planted the vegtrug with courgettes, basil and tomato plants grown from seeds by one of our class. What a wonderful effort. Mr Hopegood 🙂

Class 4 Creative Homework – Present and Future.

Not just bees!

Today in Science, inspired by World Bee Day on Saturday, Class 4 looked more widely at pollinators and made fact files for bird, beetle, bat and ladybird pollinators. Mr Hopegood 🙂

Reviewing the situation…

Class 4 has been reviewing books and, as you can see, they have plenty to say about their favourites. There’s a lovely lot of Creative Homework here as well. Mr Hopegood:)

Class 4 answers the important questions.

Today in Class 4 we have been asking questions about how people think about God and citizen science projects listening to the sounds of the Universe – https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/2023/sun/help-discover-the-sounds-of-space-played-by-nasa-s-harp And whether or not you should put pineapple on pizza.

Getting some perspective.

In art yesterday and today we have considered using perspective from a different angle – looking up! As you can see the children have taken the example as a guide and, with planning and the use of learning from geometry, came up with some fantastic versions of their own!
