Yesterday we continued learning our French by singing Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in French! Then we designed and drew aliens and labelled their body parts. Next we played Guess Who with aliens. We had to say the number and body parts in French. Here are the aliens we were playing with.

This afternoon we used the marbling inks to make constellations and planets to use in our topic display.

Today we made chocolate crispie cakes! We are looking forward to eating them later on today…

Last week we wrote Our own version of Oliver Jeffers’ Lost and Found using only the pictures to guide us. This week we got the watercolours out and recreated some of the illustrations from the story. We practised creating a colour wash over a large area. Here are some of our pictures.

Well done to all of our creators and artist who made our Christmas decorations. We have had great fun running our stall. Thanks to all who bought a Christmas tree decoration from us.

We got the money out to practise being shop keepers ready for the Chrostmas Bazaar.  Don’t forget to visit our stall in class 2 later on today.

We made our own reindeer food to practise how to measure.  We used the scales to measure out exact amounts.

Today we were learning to make predictions in Science. We talked abut light and what we already know before carrying out our experiment. We noticed that a picture of an arrow appears to flip over when we look at at through water! We talked about how this occurs as the light refracts.
