Shopkeepers

We got the money out to practise being shop keepers ready for the Chrostmas Bazaar.  Don’t forget to visit our stall in class 2 later on today.

Measuring Maths

We made our own reindeer food to practise how to measure.  We used the scales to measure out exact amounts.

Light experiment

Today we were learning to make predictions in Science. We talked abut light and what we already know before carrying out our experiment. We noticed that a picture of an arrow appears to flip over when we look at at through water! We talked about how this occurs as the light refracts. 

Christingle Service

We shared a special Christingle service together today. A big thank you to the church team for leading the service and helping us to make the Christingles and to understand the significance of each part.

Winter fun

We had lots of fun exploring the snow with our friends!

Clay

Fractions

We have been learning about fractions. We used multi links to make and compare fractions. We noticed that 1/2 is the same as 2/4. We also found out that 1/2 is bigger than 1/3. We then found out that 1/2 is the same as 0.5!

PE – Tag Rugby

Today in tag ruby we worked on attacking and defending. Coach Jack taught us a game where we had to try and get the rugby ball from the opponents half before getting tagged. This was especially hard because the other team was doing the same thing at he same time!

Repeated subtraction
