What is symmetry?

Today, year one looked at the concept of symmetry. We used mirrors to investigate the lines of symmetry on shapes. Are our faces symmetrical too?

Mission to mars

Class 3 proudly showed their Mars rover models to Mrs Whybrow this afternoon. The children took their ideas from design to creation and are super excited to showcase their work this Friday at the STEM exhibition.

STEM Assembly

Yesterday, the whole school started our exciting STEM week Mrs Whybrow challenged all classes to work together and build a free standing structure using newspaper. The results were imaginative we cannot wait to explore more next week.
