Today we held a Remembrance Service in school and held a period of silence. We reflected on the importance of learning from the past whilst thinking about how we can be peacemakers.
This year we are putting together some shoeboxes as part of Operation Christmas Child. We will be collecting for a boy and a girl aged 2-4 as well as a boy and girl aged 5-9. This morning we hosted a very successful cross country event. Thank you to all the other schools who attended and a massive well done to all the children who took part.

Today a group of children displayed our poppies around the Maypole and built a wall of remembrance in our school library. Thank you to John from the council for supporting this project and to all the staff and children for their hard work and enthusiasm.
