iRock

Rory came to visit us in school today from iRock. The children had a wonderful time singing together and forming a band! The children will be brining home letters today for you to sign them up for lessons at school. They are so excited to form their own bands.

Wreath

This morning I had the pleasure of joining a group of pupils, parents and members of the local council to lay a wreath at the Maypole. Thank you to Mrs. Barwick for organising this special event as a mark of respect to Queen Elizabeth II.

Pirates!

Class 4’s theme for this half term is Pirates – Because we Arrgh! We’ve made a great start with a literacy based exercise which has been followed up with the Class designing their own pirates and ships. There might be a prize for the best Arrgh!

Singing

Today we had a fun time singing together in Collective Worship. The children sang beautifully and helped Class 1 settle in too. Here’s the songs we have been learning to celebrate Autumn and prepare for Harvest.
