Dragons at Home (like Pets at Home…but with dragons…get it?)

This morning we set up shops to sell dragon care products. We created and priced items, then put our math skills into practice by working out how much we could buy for £10. BSL, BSL and more BSL

Today in class 2, we learnt more BSL (British Sign Language) as a part of our accepting differences topic. The children have been loving this and have picked it up super fast.

Beauty and the Beats

Recently In class 2, we had a music lesson in which we learnt about rhythm and beats. We sang some songs and identified where the rhythm and beats are. We then used tambourines to amplify them.

Guided Reading

Recently, class 2 have really been loving our guided reading sessions, which we do every day. For one of our sessions, we got into pairs and read to each other. We really loved showing our reading skills and sharing our books with our friends.

Congratulations champs.

Our champions today worked well with money in maths, care sheets in English and Collage in science!

Shakespeare’s world

As we near the end of our topic. It is time to find out what we now know about Shakespeare.  We have really enjoyed this topic and have discovered some budding poets and actors!  Thank you again for helping the children with their homework.  We have been inundated with some great creative pieces.

Board of champions

Congratulations champs! You were spotted doing marvellous maths, brilliant Big Writes and great RE.

Tricky word hunt

Today in phonics, we searched our library books for tricky words. We were all able to find them.

Please can you ensure your child does not wear their Fitbit to school. These can be very distracting and we do not want them left in lockers, in case they become lost. This also applies to any other electronic devices.  Many thanks for your cooperation.  As always, any concerns please speak to Mr Hopegood.
