The parable of the sower

Today we acted out the story from the Bible – The Parable of the sower. We thought about the meaning of the story and how we can live a good life and grow strong like the seeds in the field.

Lego fun

Today we joined together during our Lego Workshop to create a town. We worked in teams to create houses, boats, cars and much much more! Jesus feeds thousands

Today we read the story of Jesus feeding thousands with only 5 loaves and 2 fish! What a miracle! We then drew pictures, made models and wrote about the story. Here is some of our finished pieces!

The Hare and the Tortoise

The Holy Council led the collective worship with a focus on persevering. They planned and acted out the story of the Hare and the Tortoise and discussed the moral with the school. Well done – you made us all very proud!

Astronaut training

Today we were training to be astronauts! We watched the moon landing video, built our own rockets and took part in some agility training! It was fun!

Mad Science Assembly

Today we had a visit from Helen from the Mad Science team. We had lots of fun learning about air pressure and forces. Helen will be running a club at our school – details to follow!

Epiphany service

Today we went to church and learnt about Epiphany. Thank you to the ministry team for their hard work and support. Well done to all the children for their beautiful singing, reading and leading the prayers!

Christmas assembly

Today Canon Paul led our Christmas assembly. We thought about Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas.

Christingle Service

We shared a special Christingle service together today. A big thank you to the church team for leading the service and helping us to make the Christingles and to understand the significance of each part.
