Today children have brought home some sounds and spellings to practice, to help them with our learning from this week. The children are doing brilliantly with their Phonics and it would be wonderful if they could practice at home to help them feel really confident with their new sounds.
Writing
This week the children have been recapping their imperative verbs, ready to write instructions next week. We did a ‘think, pair, share’ activity where they thought of verbs and shared them with a partner, before moving on to tell another child their ideas.
PE
In PE we have been working on our ball skills and today we tried to get rallies going with our partners with the tennis rackets. It was tricky and needs perseverance but the children did really well and worked together as a team.

Thank you for all the cereal box donations, the children made a moving picture story and loved it. Well done to everyone and thank you Mrs Kerwick for supporting our learning with this activity.
