A huge well done to Class 3 for dressing up as their favourite book characters today, they looked AMAZING!
They have had a ‘booktastic’ day celebrating this year’s World Book Day, participating in a range of activities to promote reading and to develop their love of reading! Some of the activities have included:
- A World Book Day assembly linked to favourite and well-known books and authors.
- Creating a new front cover for their favourite book.
- Listening to the poetic story, The Cat in the Hat.
- Designing a new hat for the Cat in the Hat.
The day ended with Miss Trunchbull inspecting each tables table organisers for their tidiness and a fun packed quiz linked to books and characters from well-known stories.
