We are in full swing with our guided reading activities!
Mrs Archer and Mr Fox like to use this time to do lots of different skills and today we have worked on: building on our concentration skills, working on reading number words, dictionary/thesaurus skills, fine motor skills and of course, reading a story book.
We try and fit lots of different skills so we can keep practising them as much as we can and if we can link them altogether with our topic then that’s great!
One group did some amazing learning with Miss Lapwood where they each had a character from The Gruffalo. They read through the book and worked on their expressive skills pretending to be their character.
We did such a good job in our learning today. Well done all!
