Tuesday’s learning.

Hoping everyone had a great day of learning today!

Carrying on with our William Shakespeare theme this week:

Topic words: create a wordsearch or I would really like a crossword for these topic words linking to Shakespeare; tradegy, love, stage, play, actors, men, comedy, London, theatre, character.

Art: create a mask for you to wear to the masquerade ball (William Shakespeare wrote about a masquerade ball in his play Romeo and Juliet).

Research: research words that William Shakespeare invented (made up) that we still use today. I’ll start you off: Knock, knock... In a pickle, seen better days and heart of gold. Do you know what these phrases mean? Why do we still use these phrases? Could you use some you find in a sentence?

“Mrs Whybrow helped the children across the road. She really does have a heart of gold.”

Have a try! Looking forward to seeing your lovely learning.
