This morning, Class 2 did a really quick 10 minute activity looking for different words in the dictionary.
Everyone was partnered up and had 2 minutes to find a specific word in the dictionary. Once found, the class had 3 jobs.
1. Find our the word class/ group – noun, verb or adjective,
2. Find the meaning,
3. Say the word in a sentence.
Everyone did a great job at finding the words and we will keep practising this skill. Any help at home would be brilliant whether it’s using a dictionary or a thesaurus.
