In our writing we have been focusing on extending our sentences and varying our openers. We can make them longer by using connectives, prepositions and clauses. We vary openers using time words and adverbs (this stops our sentences from starting with The The The or He He He). We used a film trailer for ideas for sentences and made comic strips to plan our story.
