WOW! What an incredible day all the children have had with Miss Kate. Thank you so much for filling the pupils heads with wonderful stories and creating story potions to help them create their own.
Assembly
To start the day, Miss Kate presented a brilliant assembly to all the pupils about finding YOUR STORY and YOUR PASSION for reading and storytelling.
Class 1
Class 1 went on a journey around the world to France, Germany and Libya (West Africa). They loved travelling around the world hearing and picturing different stories, experiences and beliefs. “It was the best day EVER!” – Class 1 pupil.
Class 2
Class 2 travelled even further! First they visited Zulu (South Africa), then nipped into Norway and finally stopped off in Ukraine and what a journey around the world they had! “It was SO much fun, I loved it! I want to tell stories all the time!” – Class 2 pupil.
Class 3
Class 3 ventured further to India and Africa but they also stayed a little closer to home in England. Even so, the adventures Class 3 had, the things they saw, were eye-opening. “I cannot wait to create my own adventure, it will be different everyday! It will be inspirational!” – Class 3 pupil.
Class 4
Class 4 finished Miss Kate’s incredible journey around the world with Egypt, USA and finally finished in Germany. These countries made us laugh, kept us on our toes and dived into the deep realms of the unknown. “Her stories were original, mind blowing and mesmerising, I loved every second of it” – Class 4 pupil.
