Today, Janet and Linda came to visit us from church. We made these Easter gardens ready for the service this afternoon. We are looking forward to showing them to Bishop Roger! Thank you Janet and Linda for all your hard work and support today.
Phonics – Contractions
Some of us have been practising using contractions with Mrs Clarke. We had to remember that the apostrophe went where the missing letter was, not where the words join together.
Mother’s Day Cream Tea
Thank you to Mrs Longhurst and Mrs Chambers for organising this wonderful two day event. The scones were delicious!
Science – Planting
Today we spent some more time studying plants. We planted vegetable seeds ready for a crop after Easter. Then we went in and drew our own version of the life cycle of a plant.
PE – Dance
This morning in PE we had a visitor teach us some dance moves. We learnt lots of different moves and some exciting ways to warm up.
The enormous carrot
We finally pulled out the remaining carrot from the quad. We all shared it and we all agree that it was scrummy.
Boosters

Dance
This morning we were lucky enough to have a dance taster session. A great time was had by all. Look out for details of an after school club coming soon!
