Attack and defend!

Today in PE, we used beanbags to attack a castle. Some of the children were tasked to defend their castle whilst their friends threw beanbags into the spaces of the castle walls. It was great fun!

The Whole of the Moon!

There is a full moon tonight and in class we have been looking at maps, photographs and illustrations of the moon and making accurate pictures.

All Hail Macbeth!

One of our strands during this half term is the fantastic play by William Shakespeare, Macbeth and we will be acting scenes from the play using shoe box theatres. Stone Age – building Stonehenge

Yesterday, we learnt a little more about people in the Stone age and about Stonehenge. We even tried to build it using a range of materials!

Hockey skills

Strings and bows

Today, we started our music lessons with Mrs. Luff. We enjoyed learning about the different parts of the violins and cellos. We also learnt some Italian words whilst we were exploring musical terminology. Thank you to Mr Este and Mrs Archer for organising this for the Year 3 & 4 children.
