Today was the class 2 sharing assembly. All the children were amazing and all their work was looked fab! Thank you to Mr Fox for writing and organising the assembly.

These people have been very good today please be impressed.

This morning we played maths games using cards, dice and puzzles.

Today, we enjoyed looking at visual composition in music. The children learnt that we can represent music in shapes and symbols. We will be continuing this composition throughout the week, composing a musical score for our version of Jack and the beanstalk. 

Today in PE, class one began to look at mat work for gymnastics. We learnt about a pike and a tuck for finishing our travelling. We all really enjoyed travelling across the mat how we wanted but remembering to end in a pike or a tuck. 

This afternoon we looked at how to draw portraits. We spent our time focussing on the detail of the face and individual  features. The results were amazing.

This week, Miss Aspinall has started ou  new topic of Shape.  We have been learning 2D shapes and their properties (what they haven’t/look like).
