Church Visitors.

Yesterday morning Classes 3 & 4 all squashed in to join our Church Visitors for a lovely session of song and prayer.

Into orbit!

Today we created our own Solar Systems, working out the relative sizes of the planets and plotting their obital distance from the Sun. Christingle

This morning, we held a Christingle service in school led by Bishop Roger. Thank you to the pupils, staff and church visitors for attending and supporting the school with this learning opportunity. Thank you to Linda Towers and Class 4 for sourcing and constructing the Christingles for the children.

Class 4 had a very successful dance session with coach Charlotte with lots of hard work and enthusiasm creating their own routines.

Advent

This week we have been learning about the significance of Advent in the Christian Calendar. The Holy Council led our worship on Monday and helped dress the altar. Thank you to Reverend Andy who continued our learning on Tuesday during our worship.

Class 4’s Day

After starting with a literacy test Class 4 has continued with book reviews, making up Christingles ready for the service later in the week and are finishing of with a gym session in the hall!

Space words

As part of our Space theme we have been thinking of words that will acts as prompts when we are writing. There’s a rocket as well!

The Friendly 4!

During the week we have been discussing our worship theme “Friendly” and Class 4 came up with lots of positive ways of being a friend and we had some fun making some paper friends. 🙂

Another busy day in Class 4!

Today in Class 4 we have been lucky enough to have an extra PE session based around circuit training, there were some puffed out pupils at the end!
