Wreath

This morning I had the pleasure of joining a group of pupils, parents and members of the local council to lay a wreath at the Maypole. Thank you to Mrs. Barwick for organising this special event as a mark of respect to Queen Elizabeth II.

Spelling carousel with HF and Year 3/4 words

Singing

Today we had a fun time singing together in Collective Worship. The children sang beautifully and helped Class 1 settle in too. Here’s the songs we have been learning to celebrate Autumn and prepare for Harvest.

English – up levelling our sentences.

Today, we went back to basics and looked at very simple sentences and how to advance them. We spoke to the children and used the terminology ‘up levelling our sentences’ to make it a bit more child friendly.
