End of year awards

Yesterday at D’Arcy School, we held our end of year awards ceremony. Congratulations to all who received awards and a very special farewell to the year 6’s who have been absolutely amazing! From all the staff at D’Arcy School, we wish you all the very best for your incredibly bright futures!

Computing

On Wednesday in Class 2, we used our Chromebooks to create our very own comics. The children were able to move and resize images, insert characters and even input text.

Fun with Clay

On Wednesday in Class 2, we created our very own clay pots using our pinching fingers and smoothing techniques. The children had so much fun creating them and they came out absolutely fantastic.

Homework

Sports Day

Today we held our annual Sports Day event, even though we had to cancel part of the day – the children still had a fantastic time and were absolutely brilliant. Thank you to all those who came to the event and committed to the horrible weather to support the children. Miss Barber
