Diwali – Festival of Light.

Spelling practise

Today, we have practised our spellings in Class 2. We did lots of work with our partners using some letters, digraph triangles and cubes. Also, we played some high frequency word games too!  Who says spelling is just using ‘read, look, cover and check’ … We can make it fun and active!

Homework

Thank you for all your support at home completing homework. The children have clearly had a lot of fun whilst learning!

P.E in Class 2

Countries in the UK

Today in class 2, we finalised learning about the countries in the UK by writing some amazing sentences describing the four countries and their capital cities.

Teepee tents

Today in class 2, we learnt all about native Americans, specifically Pocahontas and her real life story. We then decided to create our very own teepee tent, which then ended up being an entire teepee village.
