Today we started learning the story we will be using for our writing, Traction Man. We discussed the story and the different characters and what we liked about them. In the afternoon we used the computers to put ourselves into the story. Here are some of the pictures we made.

In our writing we have been focusing on extending our sentences and varying our openers. We can make them longer by using connectives, prepositions and clauses. Today we joined together to share a special service with the year 6 pupils. The children shared some of their fond memories, led us in singing a range of their favourite hymns and received a bible and gift from the school.
