Christingle

This morning, we held a Christingle service in school led by Bishop Roger. Thank you to the pupils, staff and church visitors for attending and supporting the school with this learning opportunity. Thank you to Linda Towers and Class 4 for sourcing and constructing the Christingles for the children.

Advent

This week we have been learning about the significance of Advent in the Christian Calendar. The Holy Council led our worship on Monday and helped dress the altar. Thank you to Reverend Andy who continued our learning on Tuesday during our worship.

Friendly

Ocean Creatures

Recently for our writing session, we used iPads to draft sentence ideas. Previously, we had made up ocean creatures using ideas from creatures we already knew about. We tried to use conjunctions to improve our sentences. We will now start working on writing information pages about our creatures. Amazing effort Class 2!

MyMaths

Everyone in Class 2 should now have their MyMaths login letters. MyMaths is an online platform on which we set our Maths homework. Children will have one or two short tasks to complete each week.
