Sports day practice

Today in class one, we had lots of practice for our really exciting day tomorrow: Sports day!

Drawing ourselves

Today in class one, we had created drawings of ourselves for our secret project for the Horticultural Show.

Class assembly

This afternoon, we shared our learning with our friends and families during our class assembly. We have thoroughly enjoyed our learning this term. Thank you to Mrs Whybrow, Mrs Handford, Mr Fox and Miss Ripton for all their help.

An exciting guest

We are more than happy to receive some exciting guests that some of our class have at home. We’ve already had Jojo the Tortoise and an offer for Banana the Hamster, which we have accepted, but we are open to many more. Please make sure you run it past Mrs Whybrow first. Many thanks

Hamster visit

Last week we enjoyed a visit from Jojo the tortoise. Tomorrow we are excited to have Beau’s pet hamster visit us in school. We are learning lots about caring for animals as well as how animals keep healthy.

Helicopter stories

Today in class one, we created some helicopter stories within Mr Fox. He would read part of a story and we would act it out. Afterwards, we then made a story of our own.

Jojo the Tortoise

Today in class one, we had a very exciting guest: Jojo the Tortoise. It was amazing to learn about him and his habitats.

Cricket skills!

It is cricket season and to celebrate the World Cup, class one are learning cricket skills. We learnt how to bowl to the wicket and how to bat at static ball. We then had a mini game.

Cooking

We had a fun day cooking with Mrs Brown-Lee! We made delicious biscuits. Thank you for helping us today.

The Wise Man and the Foolish Man

Today we thought about the parable the Wise Man and the Foolish Man with our visitors from church. We thought about how we can build ourselves up to be confident and help others. We thought about the power of words and how we can help others with kind words.
