Keeping Safe

This week is Safety Week. In Collective Worship we have been thinking about being responsible and keeping ourselves and others safe. Mrs Eastbrook helped us to think about different scenarios and what we can say, do or wear to keep safe.

A huge thank you to the PTFA from Class One!

Class One would like to thank the PTFA for our lovely new Minibeast rug. We were very taken with it this morning when we first saw it. Our carpet area looks amazing!

At the car wash!

This morning, Class one designed a car wash and a petrol station for the bikes. We thought carefully about what objects to use and how we could join them to create the idea we had. It was great fun.

Music and movement

We had fun using the maracas in PE. We danced around pretending to be farmers and the Dingly Dangly Scarecrow!

Happy retirement

Today we said farewell to Mrs Baldwin who has cared for children at our school for over 30 years! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. Thank you Maxine for the delicious cakes.

Signing

Yesterday, Class one learnt some greetings in BSL. They loved that they were talking with their hands and I hope the children enjoy our new weekly BSL lessons.
