Time to party!

Class one had a fantastic party day. Take a look at the fun.

Christmas lunch

Thank you to Maxine and all the team for today’s delicious Christmas lunch! Key Stage 1 had a fun time and Mrs Burmby enjoyed sharing the experience with them too!

Christmas dinner day!

Today we all put on our Christmas jumpers and celebrated with a fabulous Christmas dinner cooked by Maxine. It was wonderful, thank you Maxine.

Our Christmas Alphabet

Today, all our hard work and rehearsals paid off as we put on a spectacular performance for Reverend Tracey, Mrs Burmby and Maxine. More photos to follow. A big well done to all the staff involved in putting this show together in the current circumstances.

Scary Spiders

This week the children wanted learn about spiders. We have learnt the spiders have two parts of their body so are different from insects. We also learnt that their silk is the strongest material in the world.  We made some scary spiders for our classroom.

Year One homework

Please can you help your children practise their phase 2 tricky words. I have also put a list of High Frequency words in their reading records to learn. These will increase your child’s fluency when reading if they can read them by sight rather than relying on sounding out.  Many thanks.

Wacky welly walk

Thank you to all who sponsored Class One for our Wacky welly walk.  As it was so cold and rainy, we did a little outside and then we came in for 30 mins of continual movement.  It was fun.

Busy bees

We have been so very busy today in class one. We enjoyed the dressing up clothes and made bird feeders. Outdoors, we made metal detectors to try and find our lost shed key.
