The Smithsonian

Yesterday in Class 1, we went on a virtual trip to the dinosaur exhibit in the Smithsonian Museum in America. Mr Fox told us all about the different exhibits. The children loved looking at all the different dinosaur skeletons and fossils.

Dinosaur measurement

Today in Class 1, we were ambushed by some sneaky dinosaurs who left their footprints on the floor of our classroom. So, we decided to help Mr Fox in measuring them using some non-standard units of measurements (multilink).

Dinosaur Scavenger

Today in Class 2, Mr Fox’s friend had lost all of the dinosaurs that he looks after so he asked the children in class 1 to help him find them. In this activity, we learnt about what each dinosaur looked like in comparison to their fossils (skeletons).

Lego engineers!

Class one were so lucky this afternoon as we were able to learn how to control and build a robot. We used code to make algorithms and used Bluetooth technology to communicate with the robot.
