Some of our class and the wider school have started to use the fantastic Essex Libraries Borrowbox service which is free to Essex Library card holders.
To gain access go to essex.borrowbox.com , sign in with your library card number and your date of birth as password.
There are a couple of things it would be useful for you, as parents, to know.
- You should receive an e-mail when your child borrows a book. It is important monitor this. This will be through the email you provided on the form you completed.
- As the Borrowbox app gives access to the full library catalogue, it is important to direct children toward the children’s section so they can borrow appropriate books.
- Make sure that books are returned. There is a limit of 7 books at any one time. If this limit is reached, you must return books before you can borrow new ones.
- There are never any charges for books, nor any late charges. Books will simply automatically be returned after a certain amount of time. You should get a warning when this time is nearly up.
