As you all know this Friday the 8th May is a Bank Holiday to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of V.E. Day ( Victory in Europe ) and we have some of our learning tasks on that as well as new and continuing themes.

To set the scene for the end of the week I would like you to watch Goodnight Mr Tom, this is set during World War II and will give you a good idea about the way that children lived, what they had and how they behaved. It’s surprisingly different from today.
