Today is Safer Internet Day. This special celebration takes place in February of each year to raise awareness of a safer and better internet for all, and especially for children and young people.
Today, Class 3’s learning has been based around this year’s Safer Internet Day theme ‘Inspiring change and they have participated in a range of discussions, group activities and practical activities based on managing influence and navigating change online’.
Through these activities, they have thought about:
- Young people’s perspective on new and emerging technology
- The things that can influence and change the way young people think, feel and act online and offline.
- What to do and who to tell if something goes wrong when they are online using the catchy phrase ‘Stop, Close, Tell!
It has been a great day for all!
Well done Class 3 and remember to stay safe online!
