Hello again! I’m happy to share with you once again the great times we’ve been having in Class 3!
We have been reading the book ‘The Explorers’ by Katherine Russell. In the story, four children have to survive after a plane crash in the Amazon (the rainforest, not the shopping site – which most of us have survived on during lockdown!). We had a little taster of that today as we built our own dens to match the description in the story, before reading more of the story around a campfire.
The next part of the story talks about eating bugs and grubs – perhaps I should plan that in for the future?!
