This week, along with all the exciting things going on for safety week, we will be working on using the inverse to check addition and subtraction calculations in maths and writing metaphors in English before writing our own poems based on reef life.
We are aiming for all the class to have a good awareness of how to complete column addition and subtraction – 3 digit for year 3 and 4 digit for year 4. We are also working on emphasising the importance of times tables. Any help you can provide with any of this at home would be great.
