In our science lesson today we were looking at the senses. We talked about the senses and what part of our body was responsible for each one. We realised that we sensed touch with our skin, not just our hands. We also realised that sometimes that we tasted things with our eyes, like green porridge which we decided didn’t look nice at all, and whether this was really taste.
We thought about what it must be like to live without one of he senses and looked at animals that sense in unusual ways.
Finally we recorded what our favourite sense was and why:
I like touch because I can play with my toys.
My favourite is taste because I like food on my taste buds.
My favourite sense is touch because you get to feel slimy stuff.
