Class one have had such a fantastic week, I am so proud of the children. We had excitement when Captain Redbeard ruined our classroom looking for the treasure we have. We all learnt about fingerprints to see if we could identify our own from the intruder. It was great fun using the magnifying glasses to explore. Ask the children if any one fingerprint is identical to another…even in identical twins. See what they tell you.
We have also learnt a Pirate song and then performed it to Class 2. I will try and upload a short video for you to enjoy.
Now, we discovered that Pirates mainly ate dry food as fresh food spoiled quickly when out at sea. We all had a try of making pirate porridge, I think it went down a treat!
