Feelings, Emotions and a cinema.

Today, Class one have enjoyed a Personal, Social, Emotional Development day (PSHE for Yr 1).

We had a brilliant assembly that taught us about colour zones to help us identify our emotions. So if we feel sad, we associate it with blue. red for anger etc. We then talked about the Colour Monster which is our class strategy to help the children (and teachers) identify how they are feeling. We made our own feelings stick to pop with the Colour Monsters (you should see the class, there is glitter everywhere).

This afternoon, we decided to have a feelings cinema and we screened Inside Out. The children made their own tickets and popcorn boxes for our cinema. We have had so much fun on this rainy day. Hope you enjoy talking to your children about the photos.
