The children really impressed us in class today with their phonics. It seems like they are really eager to learn and taking their learning on board well.
If you could do the following with your children from tomorrow:
- Spot the digraphs in their reading books.
- Spot sounds around the house, for example food packets in the kitchen or magazines
- Challenge your children to think of words that begin with a particular sound.
