Hello, hope you all had a good day, I have enjoyed seeing the photos that have come in about Monday’s learning. Well done.
Our new topic across the school is ‘Our Country’, within this we will be looking at the United Kingdom over the forthcoming weeks.
To start us off, I would like you to find out which countries make up the United Kingdom. Can you find the capital cities of those countries. Once you have done this, I would like you to choose a country and make a fact file about it. You can include things like famous landmarks and buildings, the flag, who the Patron Saint is, which famous people come from the countries etc.
Finally, I would like you to research and find a painting that was painted by an artist from that country. We will be using this information in Wednesday’s learning.
