Reception, I would like you to look closely when measuring and tell your grown up when the cups are full, half full and empty. Can you tell your grown up how you know this.
Year One, if you ask your grown up for the kitchen scales, can you convert my recipe into grams rather than cups. Measure out my recipe first and then use the scales to see how much a cup of flour etc weighs in grams.
Can you then write down the new recipe, don’t forget your new unit of measurement. (Grams can be written as a g)
