More Useful Links

A few more useful links for home learning have been brought to my attention:

https://www.themathsfactor.com/ – Now free for the period in which schools are closed. This is a very useful site with video lessons that will help teach concepts.

I know a lot of you have been using Joe Wickes’ videos – they’re a really useful tool to help maintain routine in the mornings.

https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/ – Free audio stories from David Walliams.

https://www.instagram.com/hobbycrafthq/ – Hobbycraft Daily Kids Craft Club. Every day at 11am, new craft projects are put on to try.

https://www.youtube.com/user/cookwiththeo – This is a streaming cookery show for children. It promises to use simple ingredients and recipes to help get children cooking during school closures.

Other bits to look out for are the following:

Steve Backshall will be doing regular streams to talk about Geography and other topics: https://www.facebook.com/events/788283191580529/

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQh2wgJ5tOrixYBn6jFXsXQ Myleene Klass is teaching regular music lessons.

https://twitter.com/diversedancemix and DDMIX for schools are doing 10 minute ‘Shake ups’ every day at 1.30

As ever, stay safe and make sure you take this chance to enjoy and try out new things.

Regards,

Mr. Este
