To end our wonderful maths week, class one looked at maths in art. We looked at the artist Paul Klee and how he used Geometry in his paintings. The children worked in pairs to create their own Paul Klee inspired piece. We hope you like them.

Maths Scavenger Hunt!
Today class 1 went into the garden and completed some tasks for maths. They then tallied up their points which was then added onto our dojo points!
Dinosaur detectives
Today, we became dinosaur detectives as part of Maths week. We had to crack a code and draw a dinosaur based on the information in the code. It was definitely a challenge but the children were fantastic.
Board game fun
This afternoon, Class one played board games as part of Maths week. The children really love playing Snakes and Ladders. Daily maths
Today in Daily Maths, Class One used the big paper to complete our daily maths. The children really enjoyed it. We look forward to seeing you on Monday for our Maths workshop.

Class 1 Christmas Bazaar
This afternoon at 2:30 class 1 have worked very hard to make Christmas items for their grown ups to buy. The sweet treats are 25p and guess the penguins name will be £1. Donations will be accepted. Entrance through class 1 door! Here is a sneak peek of the shop…

This afternoon, Class 2 visited Class One to share their reading books. It was lovely to see all the children sharing their love of reading.
